Everything here belonged to somebody first

Indie Vintage sells one of one. Not small batches, not reissues, not reproductions. A single vinyl record, a single armchair, a single run of magazines, each one checked, described honestly and then sold exactly once.

That constraint shapes everything. There is no restocking, so when a piece sells it is gone and it stays on the site as a record of where it went. Prices are what the piece is worth rather than what the category averages. Descriptions mention the heat ring and the bumped corner, because you would find them anyway and it is better you find them now.

On condition

Wear is not damage. A chair shaped by sixty years of the same person sitting in it is a chair with provenance, and we would rather tell you about it than sand it away. Where something is genuinely broken we either fix it properly or do not sell it.
